Collins Aerospace is an American aviation and defense technology company and an RTX business, formed in 2018 from the combination of UTC Aerospace Systems and Rockwell Collins. It is one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products, serving commercial and business aviation, airlines, airports, aerospace OEMs, engine manufacturers, defense contractors and government agencies in the United States and worldwide.

Engineering work spans a set of technical domains including avionics, connectivity, aircraft electrification, autonomous systems, the connected battlespace, cybersecurity and secure communications networks. The company's product portfolio covers avionics systems and equipment installed on nearly every aircraft platform, along with landing gear, nacelles, cabin seating, fuel systems, and connectivity and communications systems.

The communications business runs a secure global air and ground network serving military and commercial customers, across which more than 75 million messages travel every day. Collins systems carry nearly 70 percent of U.S. and allied military airborne communication.

Roles at Collins Aerospace touch both commercial and defense programs, drawing on the combined expertise and innovation of the two predecessor businesses.
