Silicon Ranch Corporation

Silicon Ranch develops, owns and operates utility-scale solar projects across North America, with agrivoltaics and carbon solutions programmes.

Silicon Ranch Corporation is a full-service solar and carbon solutions company founded in 2011 and headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. It develops, owns and operates utility-scale solar projects across North America, alongside carbon solutions delivered through its Clearloop subsidiary. The company is one of the largest owners of solar assets in the United States, with more than 180 projects in operation across 15 states and over 4,000 megawatts of capacity in operation. It reports successful delivery on every Power Purchase Agreement signed since 2011.

Unlike developers that sell projects after construction, Silicon Ranch retains each asset for its 40-year useful life, running development, construction and long-term operations in-house. That model shapes the technical work: solar asset development and operations, utility-scale solar engineering, and the company's Regenerative Energy® programme, an agrivoltaics offering that combines electricity generation with regenerative agriculture. Sheep and cattle graze beneath the panels, a practice intended to restore soil health, biodiversity, water quality and habitat on the project sites.

Clearloop, the company's subsidiary, helps businesses of all sizes reduce their carbon footprint by channelling investment into new solar projects in distressed communities. Silicon Ranch states a commitment to local economies and community presence in the regions where it operates, with a footprint that includes Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, Arkansas and Kentucky.
