Founded in 1988 by Juergen and Char von Knobelsdorff and headquartered in Goodhue, Minnesota, the firm employs more than 220 people and operates additional locations in Colorado, Maryland and Illinois. It is led by CEO Karl von Knobelsdorff.

The company works across industrial electrical, automation and controls, renewable energy, and power services.
